Drug Database Linking
Essential Evidence Plus does not include a drug database of its own. However, if you have the Lexi-Comp Reader or Tarascon programs installed on your handheld device, you can easily look up drug information from within Essential Evidence Plus.
Drug names are highlighted as blue links in articles. Tap on any highlighted drug name, and the configured drug database application will launch and display information regarding the selected drug.
When you have finished reviewing the drug information, return to Essential Evidence Plus and pick up where you left off.
The Drug Linking feature must be enabled to work. If it is not enabled, drug names will not display as links. To enable the Drug Linking feature, select Tools -> Options from the Application Menu.
